Your future job

I would like to work as a criminal lawyer in the future, as I believe that’s the most interesting part of the law practice. I would definitely like to practice law and not to work on an administrative kind of job; this is because I think that if I’m studying for half a decade, I might as well use what I learned.  I would also like to work on this area as I feel this is the area of legal practice that requires the most reforms as it is the one with the most problems.

As for the work environment as a lawyer I have to work indoors, I would prefer to work on a legal firm for a couple of years, and then I would definitely try to open my own legal firm. I wouldn’t try this on my own however, and I would enjoy having a friend to have a joint venture kind of thing. However if that plan doesn’t work I would definitely like to venture into international law, I firmly believe that it is an outstanding topic, and that much development can be done (and will be needed in that particular area). So If I choose that path I would definitely take a major or something related to international law, so I can work on research or in the government international policies.
