Abortion
has been a wildly controversial topic during the last century, however I
believe that there has been a wrong approach to how the state should act based
on the principles that our constitution gives us. For example I believe that
the state can’t be deciding on what a woman has to do with her body, and making
a pregnancy mandatory, is limiting the freedom of choice that we as humans have
in relation to our own bodies. That’s why im a believer that abortion should be
legal to every woman that wants to have an abortion, considering that illegal
abortions are also a very expensive thing for the state, for example, of the
many women that try pill abortion, a big portion of them end in urgency because
of the bleeding, thus being an extra cost of the state, also with the illegal
status, also comes the legal proceeding and the penalty, having to pay the
trial and if found guilty the stay in jail. I don’t believe the church has any
business with law whatsoever, the state has to be inclusive, and a a country we
don´t share one single religion, however everyone is equal at the eyes of the
law. Why do I have to be judged for something I don´t believe in?
