Music

I believe that there are two kinds of songs, those that are art, and those that are just a mean of business. I’m making this distinction because I believe that both are enjoyable on certain contexts, like dancing to reggaeton on parties is quite fun, but it’s not true art. One popular definition of art says that art are those things that are an end by themselves, an expression of the feeling of the artist with the sole intent, of having that feel on the real world so other people or the artist himself can relate to that. I like to listen to music because it is a unique form of expression; one that can be enjoyed countless times and find different interpretations of what It means every single time. Music is important as a mean of expression, we can see it used to express several things: joy, sadness, love, forgiveness, even patriotism, and politic goals, a world without music is a world without passion, and a world without passion it’s no longer human.  I enjoy listening indie, electronic, an certain kinds of hip-hop, I like Radiohead, LCD soundsystem, Arcade fire and los ases falsos and while I buy cds (I have around ten), most of the music I listen nowadays is via streaming.
